Design Design is a leader among greeting card companies and was started by Don Kallil in 1986. A former broker at Merrill Lynch in Chicago, Kallil wanted to find a business that would be both profitable and fun. He now leads a progressive company that artfully licenses the work of many prominent graphic illustrators into wonderful paper products ranging from invitations to party goods to gift wrap.
